Indie Darling Studio offers a limited imprint rental for indie authors seeking public-facing credibility for their self-published works.  

What It Is

Renting the Indie Darling imprint allows an indie author to publish a specific, approved work under the Indie Darling imprint Page & Parcel Books, benefiting from the same coveted positioning enjoyed by traditionally published authors. It allows you to say,

“I have a publisher.” 

Projects may include: 

  • Short-form books or collections 

  • Chapbooks, essays, or literary projects 

  • Thoughtfully designed creative works aligned with the studio’s values 

What It Is Not

The Indie Darling imprint is not: 

  • A traditional publishing house 

  • A vanity press 

  • A high-volume or automated service 

  • A guarantee of distribution, sales, or marketing outcomes 

Authors retain ownership of their work. The imprint provides a publishing container, not representation or commercialization promises. 

To put simply: You are renting our name, not our services.   

How the Process Works

  1. Inquiry

    Authors begin by requesting imprint details through the contact form below.

  2. Review & Alignment

    We review the project to determine if it aligns with the studio’s values, scope, and current capacity.

  3. Terms & Contract

    If aligned, we share specific terms, availability, and a contract outlining scope, duration, and expectations.

    The cost to rent the imprint for a single project is $50.00 USD. (The imprint is rented forever on that project and can be used on and in physical and digital books, in promotions, etc.)

  4. Publication Window

    If approved and contracted, you may use our imprint at your leisure in whatever fashion fits your personal timeline.

Availability

& Fit

Imprint rentals are offered on a limited basis. Not all projects will be a fit, and availability may vary by season. This selectivity is intentional. Indie Darling Studio is committed to protecting both the integrity of the imprint and the experience of the authors who publish within it.
